Graham Hunter, a journalist known for covering Barcelona and also Sky Sports' Spain expert, has reported that Manchester United and Barcelona's Thiago have agreed wages.

So, what does this mean? Well, if it's true (and that's a big if, although Hunter is pretty reliable), it means that this one is very close. United don't have any wrangling with Barcelona up ahead - pay the release clause and it's job done. If the wages are agreed, then the only thing that could stop us now is a massive bid from Chelsea or Bayern Munich, but the fact terms have been agreed may signal that the player has made his mind up.

Ultimately, we don't know too much more except that this one could be very, very close indeed.
