David Moyes has named a strong side to take on AIK Stockholm as Manchester United conclude the final game of their tour.
Wayne Rooney is famously absent, but Robin van Persie starts up front as a long striker, with Anderson, Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs comprising the midfield. Wilfried Zaha makes the team, operating on the opposite flank to Nani. Jonny Evans partners the returning Nemanja Vidic in defence, while Patrice Evra and Rafael are out first-choice full-backs. The only real rotated position is in goal, where Anders Lindegaard starts in David de Gea's stead.
Most of the younger players were left out of the travelling squad, so this is probably a more likely indication of how we'll line up and play next year. On that basis, let's hope for a thorough tonking.
Manchester United starting line-up (4-3-3): Anders Lindegaard, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra; Anderson, Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs; Wilfried Zaha, Robin van Persie, Nani.
