This Monaco project is falling apart, and Manchester United are hoovering up the pieces. As we wait on confirmation of Radamel Falcao's move to Old Trafford, the internet seems to think that United might also make a move for his erstwhile teammate Joao Moutinho.
Moutinho, a Portuguese central midfielder, is reportedly unhappy in the principality, though it's not clear whether that's because he really misses paying tax, or if he's concerned that all his talented colleagues are being sold and he'll have nobody to pass to. Either way, he's being offered around by his agent and noted friend of Alex Ferguson, Jorge Mendes.
Jorge Mendes clearly not satisfied with his earnings so far in transfer window. Moutinho, another of his clients, now being touted around.

This seems to be more of a player-looking-for-a-club rather than a club-looking-for-a-player. United certainly have space in the squad for another midfielder, but Spanish side Valencia are also interested. And they may even have the advantage, according to the Portuguese press:
Not only MUFC trying Moutinho, also Valencia thinking on him.

LVG didnt asked for Moutinho. The player knows that. And he knows Valencia coach asked for him...

We wait and see.
