Manchester United apparently yet to decide on Radamel Falcao's future

Something tells us Monaco might be lying.

The fact is that Radamel Falcao has probably been on the receiving end of some unduly harsh stick this season (there is, after all, only so much that a centre-forward can do when his service is lacking) though another fact is that he hasn't looked at his clinical best on the rare occasions that chances have gone his way. He's not nearly looked clinical enough to be worth £43.2 million, and, at 29, there's no sign that he's ever going to get back to his goalscoring best.

That makes TBB a little suspicious of the remarks of Monaco president Vadim Vasilyev, who is quoted in the Metro as having told L'Equipe:

"I met the Manchester officials last Sunday. They have not decided if they would exercise the option. It has not been his best season, but they will decide at the end of the season."

Of course, the Metro have somehow spun that into a 'FALCAO WILL STAY AT UNITED' story, when really it says nothing of the sort. Instead, Vasilyev is probably still trying to work out how to get the pricey Colombian off his wage bill for next season, and we don't expect United will be keen to help out.
