Manchester United midfield legend Ángel Di María is heading for Paris Saint-Germain, with the French champions having reportedly agreed to pay £44.5 million to land the Argentine.
He leaves after a rather dismal season at Old Trafford, having seemingly lacked the application and desire to assert himself in the Premier League, and having been dropped to make way for walking haircut Marouane Fellaini.
The nail in the coffin came when Di María refused to join up with his teammates in the United States after his extended post-Copa América break.
Given that he wasn't a part of Louis van Gaal's first team by the end of the season, Di María doesn't really leave much of a hole to be filled. However, if reports are to be believed, van Gaal is interested in signing another winger before the transfer window shuts. Nicolás Gaitán and Pedro have both been linked with moves to Old Trafford of late.
