Adnan Januzaj's loan deal to Borussia Dortmund is all but done, apparently. Sky Sports News reckon he's agreed to go, and so we should just be some dotted i's and crossed t's (and a medical) away from some awkward pictures with a bright yellow shirt.
Adnan #Januzaj to Dortmund on season-long loan is a done deal, acc to @BILD_bvb. Not clear yet if there is an option to buy. #mufc #bvb

That last sentence is the key. If there is such an option, then this is essentially United giving up on another young prospect, and as such is a disappointing moment for everybody involved. If not, however, then there is still a chance that Januzaj might become the United player we all hope he might be. Admittedly, it's a bit odd that Dortmund would be the club for a year's experience, but hey, we don't make the rules. And they play nice football.
Or, a thought. Is this the first domino in the line to fall? Januzaj to Dortmund, Marco Reus to Real Madrid, Gareth Bale to United ...?
Update: See? Told you.
