Manchester United won't be able to complete the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimović until the end of Sweden's Euro 2016 campaign, according to Sky Sports. Their reporter, Andy Burton, reports that personal terms have already been thrashed out between player and club, though the length of time it took to complete negotiations left none for Zlatan to have a medical before joining up with his national side in France.
But, according to Burton, the medical is to be nothing more than a formality:
However, both sides are understood to be relaxed about the situation, with the deal in place and ready to be signed later this summer, upon completion of his medical tests.
Sweden kicked off their Euro campaign with a 1-1 draw against the Republic of Ireland on Monday, and are next in action in a tasty match against Italy on Friday. If you want this deal done quickly, you'll be donning the green and red facepaint.
